PEW CUSHIONS
The Friends purchased cushions for the pews in the central block of the nave. The thick padded cushions, covered in a warm red furnishing velvet, were custom made to fit our pews at a cost approaching £12,000. We would like to extend this investment to provide seat cushions for the pews in the side aisles as and when funds allow.
HANDRAILS TO THE CHANCEL STEPS
A new set of handrails has been installed on both sides of the chancel steps. This is appreciated by the less mobile in our congregation.
